Arrival in Paris. After check-in at your hotel, the balance of the day is at leisure to explore Paris, the magnificent capital of France. Packed with monuments, museums, art, nightlife, eateries and shops, Paris remains - in spite of all the cliches - one of the most inspiring cities in the world.
After breakfast, take the train from Paris to Bordeaux, the city that bears the same name as the region and the famous wine that's been produced there for over 1,200 years. Checkin at your hotel and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. This evening enjoy dinner at a lively Bordeaux restaurant. (B,D)
