My wife Kendy, my son Gray and I just spent 9 days in Egypt where we had the pleasure of being guided by several of your tour guides. In Cairo, we were met at the airport by Walid Harvy. He made our entrance into and exit from Egypt very streamlined and effortless.&#160; Upon our arrival, Walid made certain that we would be met each day by a driver (in Cairo, it was Adel) and a guide (Ahmed). They were always very patient with our questions and our needs. Adel got us not only to Cairo destinations but also drove us to Alexandria. He was very helpful and a most pleasant person to spend extended amounts of time with. Ahmed was very entertaining and informative. We asked him countless questions about the history, culture, and many other various topics that he patiently and thoroughly addressed.&#160; When we flew to Aswan, we were guided by Muhamid Ali. Once again, we received only the best attention and we never found Muhamid anything but a gentleman and a greatly knowledgeable teacher on many topics.&#160; We would like to share our experiences with our American friends and ask them to contact you for their Egypt tours. Well we&#8217;re back from a wonderful, amazing, beautiful, informational and all around fantastic visit to Italy. Everything went well. All flights and buses and connections and tours and tour guides. So well done. And we met people from a nearby town. Can&#8217;t say enough about this tour. Glad we chose the Puglia area. And we each only gained a pound...Lots of steps and walking. We also celebrated on the exact date (10/14) our 28th wedding anniversary on the last day with our tour&#8217;s farewell dinner. Everyone was so sweet to us and also couldn&#8217;t believe we had grown children and had been married for so long. I have been meaning to contact you all week to let you know what a wonderful time we had. Mykonos was great. The car service used to pick us up at every island was terrific. Very nice cars &amp; the drivers were so friendly and informative. We had been upgraded to &#34;The Villas&#34; in Mykonos &amp; our room was beautiful. The service at the hotel was terrific &amp; we enjoyed the energy of the island. The food was terrific everywhere we went. The ferry was very nice but I would recommend first class tickets instead of the economy class as they were allowed to go up to the upper deck. The hotel at Santorini was also great, it was like a small apartment with a hot tub. We went on a Catamaran boat ride &amp; saw the island from a different view, just beautiful! We could walk to the town from our hotel &amp; we did that every night. Athens was also wonderful &amp; I appreciate your quick &amp; helpful response to our room accommodations. The tour guide was great &amp; kept us all very interested. The hotel was centrally located so we could walk everywhere. Perfect! I can't thank you enough for the wonderful package you put together for us. Every piece of the package was excellent, your choice of hotels, pick up service &amp; even the flights were perfect. Thank You Again &amp; hope to work with you on our next big trip.

As I promised, here is my tour review (sorry it took me so long) Our trip was beyond my expectations, and we travel a lot, at least two international trips per year, so it is not easy to be impressed by an entire journey.&#160; First of all, thank you very much for making our travel plans easy, we had our pre-tour time as planned before joining the group. Since we booked our flights by ourselves, I can't complain much about them, but just in case other customers ask, flying to Dubrovnik by Iberia was a good choice (JFK-Mad, MAD-DBV), brand new plane, very good service (premium economy); coming back wasn't that good, we flew British Airlines (ZAG-LHR, LHR-JFK), very crowded old dirty 747, and not so good service (premium economy). Once in Dubrovnik, the transfer was on us since we booked a pre-tour hotel near the Old Town.&#160; Our first hotel, Grand Villa Argentina, was superb, excellent service, nice room overlooking the Adriatic Sea and Lokrum Island with a small balcony with seating area. Before our tour, we did activities that wasn't included in the tour like going to Montenegro (very nice visiting Perast and Kotor, but Budva was a waste of time), riding the gondola up to Mount Srd, kayaking during sunset, walking the Dubrovnik walls, and visiting the other fort. Our tour started on September 1st as planned, check in at the hotel was easy, and then at 7pm we had our first meeting with the tour leader (Ivana) and the group, followed by dinner at the hotel.&#160; At the beginning we were a little scared if that is the word, because there weren't other people from NJ/NY like it happened before, but a large Filipino-American group from California (26 people), and other five friends from Australia, but it happened to be the best group we ever had, everybody was friendly, funny, and treated us like family since the beginning of the tour. I guess we were very lucky to tour with them.The next day we had our walking tour of the Old Town of Dubrovnik in the morning, and free the rest of the day, with an optional tour for those that wanted to join it (we didn't take any optional, we like to have our free time or to book other activities).On September 3rd, we went on the road with Dalivor as our driver (I hope I spelled his name right).&#160; We stop in Markaska (beautiful small coastal town), and then in Split were we had our walking tour, and dinner.&#160; After that was Trogir in the morning (the only rainy day), arriving at Plitvice Lakes in the afternoon for the walking tour (actually we did both, lower and upper walking tour with other 4 people from the group). After Plitvice Lakes we went to Slovenia, first was Postonja Caves, then Bled, and some time in Ljubljana before going back to Croatia. In Bled we left the group during the visit to the castle to do some hiking around the lake, and we didn't join the optional. The last part of the tour was Zagreb were we had time for ourselves after the morning city walking tour. Now, I want to review the hotels: Dubrovnik: Lapad Hotel.&#160; We supposed to have the Valamar Lacroma Hotel, but Kompas changed for the Lapad Hotel.&#160; This hotel is far from Old Town, but accessible by bus #6 (15 kuna each way) about 10-15 minutes ride.&#160; The hotel has no views, a huge new marina is being built in front of it an all you can see is a floating metal platform with a high roof.&#160; Rooms are quite small but nice, modern, and nicely decorated, but the garden view was a wall four feet away with bushes.&#160; Good breakfast with plenty of seating accommodating all the tour groups. Split: Atrium hotel.&#160; Walking distance from the Diocletian Palace.&#160; Good dinner, good breakfast. Wonderful room, large, very comfortable beds, huge bathroom with double sinks, everything brand new. Plitvice Lakes: Jezero Hotel.&#160; Perfect location, just right on the park, but it was all the good of it.&#160; Dated rooms, small, and yellowing for some deep cleaning (mold in a leaking bathroom).&#160; Service was bad, kind of rude waiters.&#160;&#160; Dinner and breakfast were OK but far from a first class hotel. Bled; Park Hotel (Savas group)&#160; right on the lake, dinner and breakfast were good with nice selections; rooms were OK. Zagreb; Westin Zagreb Hotel.&#160; Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, excellent breakfast. Tour guide and driver Ivana was our tour guide (I'm regretting not asking her address to send her a thank you note).&#160; She was perfect! As a former teacher, she talked about places and history in the most didactic way.&#160; She was lively and funny to the extent that everybody ended singing and laughing.&#160; Best tour guide I've ever had! Dalivor was our driver, very professional and polite. And I can't forget to mention the bus!&#160; Brand new bus, very comfortable, with plenty of room. Wonderful trip, beautiful places, the only downside of this trip was coming back to the routine, but this can't be avoided.&#160;&#160;&#160; Thank you Lina for doing our booking! I'll be glad to write my review if you need it, Central Holidays was great with us ten years ago when we went to Greece, and once again with this trip.&#160; We will book with you again, that's for sure!&#160; Thank you again.

My clients had a great trip. Here is some feedback for you... Condor Travel is FANTASTIC. Flawless execution &#8211; I can see why Central Holidays uses them as their in-country resource. We had the same tour guide all through Lima, then another tour guide all through Urubamba/Cusco/Machu Picchu. That meant we were able to develop a meaningful rapport with both of them that turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. With regard to our hotels &#8211; they were all AMAZING. We were VERY glad we ended up at the Hotel Sumac in Machu Picchu Pueblo. The Inkaterra MAPI is in the center of the pueblo &#8211; surrounded by hostels, bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, narrow streets, and every tourist and backpacker in the area. I hope the luxury includes thick soundproof walls! And the Belmond Sanctuary is &#8220;at the entrance to Machu Picchu&#8221; which means at the top of the hill where the buses drop off, turn around, and line up &#8211; John and I said, &#8220;it&#8217;s basically a luxury experience at Port Authority.&#8221; Sumac is at the edge of town. That distance (and by that I mean a tiny distance, it&#8217;s a 5-7 minute walk to get to the center of the pueblo) makes you feel like you&#8217;re not even in a town, more like it&#8217;s plopped down off by itself at the foot of Machu Picchu mountain. I&#8217;m also glad that the Hiram Bingham was able to be arranged one-way (both ways was a bit too much $$). It was a unique experience and a wonderful evening. If you have clients who are leery of the cost, I would definitely recommend doing what we did &#8211; the Vistadome on the way there, during the day with the big windows so you can see the valley as you journey to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Then, the Hiram Bingham back down in the evening &#8211; you don&#8217;t miss seeing outside, because you already did that, and you can relax and have a lot of wine&#160;<img title="Wink" src="https://www.centralholidays.com/ui/editor/tinymce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0">&#160;&#8211; we avoided drinking alcohol in MP Pueblo because of the physical exertion of climbing around the ruins, and felt deserving of it on the way back to Cusco! Thanks for your extensive help in planning this trip!

Hi Karen, Hope you are well. We just got home last night (and have to organize all our photos at some point) but I wanted to tell you the trip was OUTSTANDING! Every aspect, every connection, etc. worked out beautifully. The hotels were all wonderful, although the ones in Venice and Florence were challenging because they were on the streets that have all the expensive designer stores and it took us a long time just to walk down the streets. Kimberly, Our trip was amazing! We had so much fun and saw so many great things! The hotels were perfect. Everything went so smoothly. You couldn't have planned a better trip for us. We even got to listen to the Pope speak in St. Peter's Square! Perfect timing I guess. We also spent a few hours in Pisa since our train ticket there was open ended. Saw the leaning tower, got our picture, had some wine, and then hopped back on the train to Florence. Four places in one trip ... not to bad! My favorite place was cinque terre. We saw all 5 cities, did some serious hiking, and even did some kayaking. The views and cities were breathtaking. The food and wine were pretty fantastic too.&#160; Thanks again.

Mr. Walid Wahib Fahmy, Tour Guide for STI Fam Trip 3-12 December 2012 Egypt We recently returned from our fantastic cultural experience and familiarization trip to Egypt and Jordan December 3 - 12, 2013 with STI Tours and their Cairo office - Sakkara Tours. What a fabulous experience and certainly a trip of a life time. All of your personnel are what made the trip so exceptional. This email is specific to your employee, Walid Wahib Fahmy, who was our first contact, and they say first impressions are very important. You picked the right person to be our first impression. Walid with his special airport security clearances met us shortly after we stepped off of our Egypt Air flight from New York. It certainly was nice to have his smiling face, and friendly personality waiting for us after such a long flight. v Our first impression of Cairo and the Egyptian people was favorable due to his meeting us and taking charge right away. We were a four member group and one member had not pre-arranged for her visa. This could have been a timely delay, but Walid escorted our tour mate to the appropriate office and secured the visa in minutes. He then showed us the way to get through passport control, then onto the baggage claim area and out of the airport with astonishing ease and speed. Our small group was already talking about our unexpected and very pleasant airport experience by the time we boarded our transportation vehicle to our hotel. Walid got us checked in and shown around the hotel in short order. Early the next morning......there he was......his smiling face and greeting us and introducing us to our wonderful guide Ahmad Dahab, who took us all around Cairo on 4 December. The next morning (5 December), we had an early departure from the hotel, as our flight left at 7am for Aswan. Walid was there, again getting us on our way, getting us checked in very quickly at Cairo Airport for our early flight. His reliability, friendliness, and efficient manner, allowed us to just relax and enjoy the trip.<div>We had two more times where we would see him again. On the night of 11 December, we flew into Cairo from Amman, Jordan. Zipped through the airport and next thing we were at the Holiday Inn Heliopolis all checked in, with Walid taking care of all. Too soon came the next morning, when we had to leave for our return flight to New York. We had a nice breakfast and no worries because we knew Walid was there and he was taking care of everything. Walid escorted us to the airport, provided us with an easy airport check in and all the while continuing to be informative and helpful. All of us appreciated his outstanding efforts, leaving us with fond memories of Egypt. We highly recommend Walid Wahib Fahmy as a guide and information source for anyone traveling to Egypt. Thank you for introducing us to him. All of the services provided by Walid were what we would say...&#34;He exceeded all expectations&#34;. When I have re-told our trip adventures to people, I always tell them about Walid and the service he provided on behalf of Sakkara Tours / STI. Hello Jane, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful Egypt FAM that I was so fortunate to be a part of. Everything was well organized and gave us the benefit of seeing a lot of Egypt that we may not have otherwise been able to experience. The hotels were excellent as was the food. We were advised not to drink tap water but the water used in food preparation was safe and &#34;mummy's revenge&#34; was not an issue. Our ground transportation was first class with excellent drivers. However, the best without a doubt, was our guide, Ayman. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to communicate that knowledge to us. I cannot praise him enough and I hope that STI realizes what an asset he is to your organization. Egypt has many treasures and one of them is named Ayman. I had never worked with STI in the past but, rest assured, you will be at the top of my list for clients that want to travel to areas that you service. Hi Jane how are you sorry it took so long to get back to you. Egypt was awesome i am trying to get bev to write a review but we have been very busy since we got home. Every thing went perfect from our exchange in booking with you and Maria to being meet by your rep. Raymond (our shadow in Cairo) at the airport. He was there every time to meet us booked us to our rooms for our air transfers even got us to our very late departure from Cairo Maha was great as our Cairo guide no pressure very relaxed took us to all the places we wanted to see and Nagi our driver was the best driver ever to drive in that place you have to be we called him NASCAR NAGI !!! Robert was our guide on the Nile cruise he was great very informative on the excursions and as there was only 10 of on the whole ship we all had lots of time to get to know one another we even made him eat with us lol. I am going to get Bev to write a much more detailed review later there was so much to see we plan on going back again one day but first its England to see her sister and then a cruise from Basel to Amsterdam. First, their flight to IST was delayed; the company was very good is meeting their plane, taking them to the hotel and giving them a different boat ride because they missed the original one. They really enjoyed the spice market. Their tours of Istanbul were terrific. They loved their guide. (I think his name was George, but I'm not sure). He was OUTSTANDING. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Maramar Hotel. The service was great. It was an experience we will never forget!In addition, when we arrived at the airport for our departure back to the United States, we remembered that we had left our battery charger/digital camera battery in our hotel room! We asked Mohamed if he could retrieve it and send it to us. He immediately offered to return to the hotel and get our items himself and then bring them back to the airport since there was more than enough time to make our plane. We were amazed! Mr. Mamdouh had already received our tip and had finished his duties as our host but he tookon this task happily and saved us from replacing these costly items when we arrived home!Secondly, we would like to mention Mohamed Ali, our guide for the Nile River Cruise on the MS Monaco. He was intelligent and knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. He was also very accessible on the boat if we had any questions. However the best part of the whole trip was the excursion he provided in Luxor. He took us all in horse and carriages to tour the neighborhoods of the city. It was fascinating to see everyday Egyptian life as they live it. What an extraordinary experience!Lastly, we would like to commend George, our guide on Day #2 in Cairo and Heba, our guide in Alexandria. Both gave us a full day of interesting information and thought provoking conversations. Both guides were clear and enjoyable to be with.We would also like to mention how pleased we were with the hotel accommodations and restaurants selected. In addition, we appreciated the security provided on excursions which gave us all peace of mind.In conclusion, we were thrilled with Sakkara Tours' participation in our ABC Deluxe Egypt Tour. We felt you should know what terrific people you employ. Great staff leads to a good reputation which will ensure a travel company's success in a competitive world. I am writing to tell you how impressed I was with my trip to Egypt. My trip ran smoothly from start to finish, despite many connections to be made. I could relax because I was in such good hands. My Nile cruise was wonderful, great accommodations and excellent food. I have to specially mention what a wonderful guide I had in Ahmed Haggag. He is so intelligent and knowledgeable as well as a lot of fun, and his English is impeccable. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Egypt.

I just returned from my trip to Egypt a couple of days ago and wanted to write to thank you for the most interesting vacation of my life! He greeted us at the Cairo airport and made sure that we were at the right place and at the right time. We found him to be most helpful. 2nd, Our driver Emad Sobhey, This guy was amazing! He navigated some very tight roads and was very friendly and just an all around nice guy! 3rd, Our guide, Mr. Aiman Basele, I wanted to tell you that Aiman absolutely made our trip! He was informative, entertaining and had the personality that was unique and terrific! If I can come back to Egypt again I will request these 3 people accompany us once more. I wish I could remember the names of your staff that provided outstanding assistance during my two visits in December as I would write a letter of recommendation and ask that you put it in their employee files.&#160; One event, I thought my son (age 40) had left the hotel and not returned..it had been five hours....your staff searched, finding him in the business office computer in the very early morning hours... emailing his children. I am ashamed when I misplaced another item, that I asked the Manager to ask housekeeping to recheck my room.&#160; I found it in my luggage upon return to the US. In all my years of travel I have never experienced this level of courtesy and service, including the Peninsula chain. This trip was a 40th birthday present for my son, and in three years I will be returning for my grandsons 16th birthday. Hello Dawn.I just wanted to give you some feedback on STI and Sakara tours in Egypt. Please feel free to pass this along. I cannot say enough good things about the Tour company. All reps were prompt, courteous and just plain nice and fun. You know I ask a lot of questions- I always want to know about other cultures and daily life. We got to know our Tour reps and really enjoyed them. Walid as well as Enje our guide and Badr our driver in Cairo were wonderful . We also enjoyed our guide on the Cruise Robert Rafeek who helped us from Luxor to Aswan. The Hotel and boat staff were very nice to us. We even got upgraded to the Presidential suite on the boat when the AC had a problem. All aspects of our trip were wonderful. This was our first time in such a foreign country and having our reps always waiting to guide us was a great relief. I would not hesitate to use STI or to recommend them. Feel free to have any questions sent to me- I would be happy to help anyone considering this trip. I will also be posting on Trip Advisor since I found very little to recommend this group and tour when I was doing research. I recently traveled to Cairo, Egypt with Club abc Tours and had a wonderful experience. We were flight 985 leaving from JFK, New York City to Cairo, Egypt. We were met by our guide, Mohamed from Sakkara Travel who took us through our cruise on the Nile and all the accompanying cities including Luxor, Abu Simbel and Aswan. I do not know his last name but he did give us his e mail address which I will give you part of: lightleel.I would like to tell you that our trip was made special by Mohamed. He was competent, friendly, eager to please and extremely knowledgeable. With three 4 out of 5 teachers in his group it could have been difficult be he was amiable and so informative. I learned so much from him.In addition as an American traveling in the Middle East for the first time, I felt completely safe and well cared for as well as respected- all of which I attribute to Mohamed. My friend and I have recently returned from a wonderful trip to Egypt. There were several tour guides, drivers, and transfer guides who were responsible for our very smooth trip in a country very far from our home. As we travelled around Egypt and to Jordan the help provided was essential. I was impressed with all of the assistance my friend and I received, and I would highly recommend StI Travel.While I was very happy with all of the many representatives of Sti we encountered, I would like to make special mention of a couple of significant people. Hassan, who was courteous, efficient, and when we arrived in Cairo was always there to greet us with a warm smile and get us quickly through the check-in to our hotel or through the airport gates. Aly Hassan was our tour guide who met us in Aswan and remained with us for the duration of our Nile Cruise. Aly was professional, knowledgeable, and a friendly guide who us took through the many wonderful sights as we enjoyed our cruise. Dear STI, Hi. I just wanted you to know, my husband and I just returned from our 13 day Majestic Egypt Trip. It turned out wonderful. When we got to the airport in Cairo, Egypt we were met by Rafik who was just very warm, and personable and made you feel safe in a big city like Cairo. We were met with private drivers and mini vans everywhere (except in AbiSimbul). The two boats we were on were very nice..... especially the Kassir Ibrim on Lake Nassar. We had a fabulous time.....everything went off as expected and we just loved our 3 guides--Maja (in Cairo); Tamer (on the Nile River Crusie--The Mojito); and Mustavo on the Kassir Ibrim. We liked the boat itself better on the Kassir Ibrim. Our Suite on the Mojito had almost no windows, and the window would not open. Our AbiSimbul Suite on the Kassir Ibrim was absolutely gorgeous. That\'s it for now. If you need to use our comments to encourage your other guests, you are welcome. We felt very Safe with STI Travel and had a wonderful, wonderful trip.&#160;

Dear Gary,I would like to thank your organization, particularly Jane Masterson, for doing such a tremendous job with regards to our recent Egypt trip. With recent bombings and warden messages, university officials required that the trip itinerary be revised at the last minute. Entire days had to be rearranged on the itinerary and several students (and 1 trip leader) dropped out at the last minute, and I know these changes required a tremendous amount of time and energy, not to mention skill, in order to pull this off. I\'m pretty sure Jane had to put aside her workload for a few days in order to accommodate our requests, and we are grateful she did all this so willingly. The level of customer service we received was superb, and she should be commended. Thanks for providing our group with such an amazing experience.

To whom it may concern,I have been asked to provide feedback on my experiences with Henry Ayoub as our Egyptologist and I do so enthusiastically without reservations. I travelled to Egypt in January 2009 with a group of 25 students. This was our first time to Egypt and I do not have any prior formal training relating to Egyptian history and culture. Thus, I was reliant on our guide to provide the necessary educational experiences for the students. This is a big risk. I have had experiences with guides that are very knowledgeable, but did not motivate the students to learn from them. In my experience, the most important aspect of education is the relationship that forms between student and teacher. If there is no relationship that develops, the students are not motivated to learn about the materials presented. Henry was such a fantastic teacher and person, that the students were quick to form a lasting bond with him and in return, learned a great deal from him. He showed a level of care and compassion for our students that was truly remarkable, especially given the nature of our relationship and the brief period we spent together. Even now, Henry's name is spoken with great affection among our students. In addition, other professors have been impressed by the level of knowledge our students demonstrate about Egyptian history and culture.What makes Henry such an outstanding teacher/guide is that he treats all of the students with respect. He does not talk down to them, but treats them as novices and apprentices in the field. At the opposite extreme, he is also firm with them and does not allow the group to take control of the situation. In other words, he has the skills to maintain interest in the group without losing control of the group and the environment. During my time in Egypt, I considered Henry a colleague. I often thought Henry could easily be confused for one of my colleagues at my home institution. His knowledge, demeanor, and compassion for his students and subject are in-line with what you would expect of any colleague. Our really enjoyed talking to Henry on a variety of topics, not all related to Egypt. I know that the students who were privy to these discussions reported learning a great deal from listening to our conversations.Finally, let me be blunt in saying that I would not travel back to Egypt without Henry Ayoub as our guide. Although I have no other experiences to compare with, I would be hard pressed to even consider taking another teacher/guide for a tour of Egypt. I was told, in an unsolicited fashion, on several occasions in Egypt that Henry is the best Egyptologist/guide in the business. After our experiences, I have no doubt what so ever in this claim. I was so impressed with how he cared and took care of our group, how he taught the students, and how he related to me, my students, and my colleagues, that I would change itineraries for a trip in order to have Henry as our guide!

&#160;Hi,&#160;I am planning to fax the paper review form, but I wanted to send this to mention a few people individually.&#160;In the New Jersey office I wanted to mention Maria Garcia. She is so gracious and patient in answering all my questions.&#160;I had a wonderful time on my trip. The organization of STI was impeccable. The transfer personnel were always punctual and very friendly. I never had to wait for anyone, not even when my initial flight into Cairo arrived over a hour early!&#160;My tour coordinator and transfer person in Cairo, Ahmed Salah, was especially good at his job. He was always smiling when he greeted me at the airport or picked me up the my hotel. He seemed to know everyone and was able to wisk me through the airport in no time at all. He made me feel extremely comfortable in a foreign country, which sometimes can be difficult when traveling solo. He laughed easily and was easy to be around. Anything I needed, he made it happen. Just like that!&#160;I was also pleasantly surprised when I had a private car and a private guide in Cairo. When I asked my guide why I was not with a small group, he said &#34;private is much better&#34;. I sincerely agreed and was not about to argue with him!&#160;My tour guide in Cairo, Ahmed Dahab, was a really great guide. He was able to make Egypt come alive for me. What he taught me about Egypt and it's people, made the remaining days of my trip so much more enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and was able to relay that knowledge effectively. He was also very friendly and offered to take my picture at all the sites. I very much appreciated that!&#160;My guide, Moustafa Bahr, on the Lake Nasser cruise was also very good. I'm not sure if he works for STI or the ship itself. If he does not work for STI, maybe he should. We had a very difficult person in our group of six and he handled the situation very professionally. The trip was exhilarating, exciting, educational and a whole lot of fun.My hugest thanks goes to you for getting us Ayman Bassily as our guide in the CairoNile Cruise part of the trip. Ayman made the trip 10 times more amazing. He is very well organized, dealt with all our last minute changes very easily with absolutely no hassles (day 1 and day 2 got swtiched around when my husband missed his connection in London, we changed our mind on the Sound and Light show at the intersection), took us to local restaurants when we complained that we did not want hard rock cafe, told us what is just a tourist trap and not worth doing, never pressured us to buy when he took us to the papyrusalabasterjewelry shops.When it came to the actual temples and places we visited, Ayman was absolutely riveting with the way he taught and guided us through the various monuments. His depth of knowledge is astounding. He is able to communicate very clearly, without being judgemental and always presents all sides. He quickly figures out who is interested in the art, and who is interested in the stories and directs everyone according to their interests. The trips and bus rides were filled with all of us asking him many many questions about the past and the present. He never took umbrage at any question and answered them all without ever hurrying, and always with all points of view.He helped us beyond what was in the itinerary. He took us shopping in Edfu and Cairo. He came a 2nd time to the Egyptian Museum, so that the 2 people who missed it the first time could see it with a guide (and the 2nd trip he explained different thinks in the museum), he arranged a car for us to go to the Whirling Dervish and Dashur, he called on New Year's day to make sure the car came to pick us up, and he always showed us the best places to eat, even giving us recommendations in Sharm El Sheik. Finally, he does all this with an amazing sense of humor which is the icing on the cake. We all suffered from Ayman withdrawal in Sharm and when we got back from the trip. He is just an amazing tour guide with an infectious enthusiasm for his subject (which he is the master of) and an extremely understanding and outgoing personality. We thank you again for making it possible for all of us to be guided by Ayman. It was an honor.Wael was also very personable, courteous, highly efficient and professional. He helped and guided us so ably through immigration on the way in and was amazing with the way he got us checked in for our flights on the way out. The place was utter confusion and we would never have made it out without Wael's help.Overall, Sakkara did a wonderful job of handling all our needs. We appreciated the up grade to the Mojito, the large bus for us 17 people, the ease with which Sakkara and you agreed to us cancelling St. Catherine and transferring it to Ras Mohammed, helping us with all ariport transfers. Sakkara was really very professional and kept it all running extremely smoothly. We also appreciated that they sent us a separate guide (Michael) for Ras Mohammad and so on the boat we had 2 guides -- the boats guide and Michael. Michael helped us through the rentals and then took good care of the couple of people in our group who were snorkelling for the first time and eased their fears and took good care of them.The only person that we felt could have done a better job was Reda, who was our main guide in Sharm. We assume he is new at this job. He needs to put himself in the tourist's shoes and understand that sometimes changes do need to be made. He gets frustrated if any changes are made. His English needs a bit more improvement as it sometimes comes across as rude (but we understand that he does not mean to be) and sometimes we truly cannot understand what he is saying. He seems extremely hurried and has a hard time juggling everything. He means well and is trying hard. He finally did execute what we needed at Sharm, just not with the ease and personality of the other Sakkara folks we met.And finally, thanks to you folks at STI for being flexible with the bookings and handling the ever growing group (from 8 people to 12 to 17). Thanks for changing flights to Sharm just a couple of days before we left and for handling the St. Catherine to Ras Mohammed switch very easily.We loved our trip and hope to go back to Egypt in another 5 or 6 years. We will definitely recommend you to all our friends.

J'espere d'ailleurs qu'on pourra mettre sur pied tres rapidement pour avril ou mai prochain un famtrip comprenant la visite des pyramides, la croisiere, de meme qu'un petit sejour&#160;a Sharm El Shiek et Hurgada avec quelques rondes de golf. Il serait tres bien de generer des ventes-groupe pour les golfeurs et meme d'organiser un pro-am en collaboration avec quelques professionnels de golf du Quebec pour l'automne 2009. Le parcours de Luxor doit malheureusement etre mis de cote, mais les parcours de Sharm El Shiek et Mirage sont superbes et adequat pour recevoir des golfeurs. Le resort Jolie Ville est un des plus beaux que j'ai eu l'occasion de voir jusqu'ici alors que le JW Marriott n'a rien&#160;a envier aux plus beaux hotels du monde. Vraiment fantastique....Je tiens&#160;a te signaler le professionalisme de tous les representants STI rencontres au cours du voyage. Wael, Moody (il est formidable) et Philippe se sont relayes pour nous encadrer avec beaucoup de chaleur. Nos deux guides, Ahmed (crosiere) et Heba (pyramides) ont ete&#160;a la hauteur, particulierement le jeune Ahmed qui a su capte notre attention par des propos justifies, amusants, sympatiques et surtout bien ponderes tout au long des differentes visites. Sakkara Travel Group 61 El Marghany Street Heliopolis, CairoI have just finished a 13-day trip on the Nile with your company and I had to take a few minutes to tell you just how much I enjoyed the trip.All the tour guides (Rehab, George, and Ash) were informative and offered us interesting stories about each of the different areas we visited. I also must commend each and every tour guide once they found out that I had a broken neck and in some areas was unstable on my feet they did every thing to assure my safety.The staff of the Mojito tended to my every need and let me tell you sometimes that was easy because I came to Egypt to fulfill a dream and I was not going to let any physical disabilities stop me. All, I can say is that the staff from housekeeping to Marco were there to help when I tripped on the stairs or if I needed something translated.The drivers I had in both Luxor and Cairo (I am sorry that I do not remember their names) also assured that I was safe at all times.And last and far from least Ahmed Salah who first met me at the Airport on Sep 23, 2008. He got me through customs, helped me with my bags and did more then his best to make me feel at home. In fact when I got off the plane I felt that I was a lost family member who just found their way home. When it came time for me to leave on Oct 5, Ahmed made sure that I was at the airport on time and in the right line to make my plane.Because of these people and people I cannot remember their names I will remember this trip for a long, long time and look forward to returning to Egypt soon.thank you sakkara travel

Hi Heather. thanks for the upgrade, it was great. We had a room on the 33rd floor overlooking the Nile and could see the Pyramids.Just wanted to let you know that we were thrilled with the tour. All of the STI people that we met were excellent and treated us like royalty. The guides were really very good and added to the whole experience.We were also upgraded at the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan to a beautiful room (apparently the hotel is closing down soon for a 2 year refit).All of the hotels we stayed in were great as was the cruise ship (the Mojito).During our Sharm stay, we opted out of the trip to St Catherine's - no problem, but we were getting pretty exhausted from all the sightseeing and travel and decided to spend 3 days around the pool drinking beer and recuperating. It worked!It's going to be hard to travel as a regular tourist again after the kind of treatment that we received!This was one of the most memorable holidays we've ever had - STI did a great job for us and we'd be happy to recommend you guys to anyone considering an Egypt tour.Thanks for everything. I've placed comments about STI and you on Trip Advisor. I would like to send additional praise to STI for all their help when my sister left home without her medication. She discovered this just before boarding flight and called her friend and asked her to get in touch with STI and see what could be done. STI spent a lot of time and efforts trying to get these medications overnighted to her. My sister's friend also thanks STI for their wonderful cooperation. Lastly, I want to thank Heather personally for her help. I have never taken a tour as presented and you were outstanding while I changed a little here and then later changed a little there, until I had exactly what I wanted. Because of a flight delay coming from Dubai we arrived in Cairo on 5 March too late to make our connection to Aswan to meet the cruise. Achmed from the Sakkara Travel Group Heliopolis office met us and provided superior service getting us visas, passed through immigration and customs, rescheduled on a later flight and arranged for us to spent our waiting time relaxing at a local hotel, and getting us back to the airport for our flight. We will send a thank you note to Sakkara Travel. Other transfers were just as advertized. Escort and guide: Ashraf met our (late) flight in Aswan and gave us a catchup tour of everything on our itinerary and got us to the hotel boat. He was knowledgable, friendly and very helpful.Airline within the tour: Egypt Air from Dubai to Cairo, Cairo to Aswan and Luxor to Cairo: Good. Dubai to Cairo flight was an hour and a half late because of problems in Dubai.Recommendation: absolutely. STI did a excellent job with the meet, greet and transfer services. Important activities when traveling in the MIddle East.

We just got back from a 10 day tour with STI (known as Sakkara in Egypt) and had an awesome experience. This was our first trip to Egypt and we were a bit apprehensive.But...put away any fears, the Egyptian people are friendly, hospitable and LOVE Americans. This country thrives on tourism and they know it. STI was GREAT! Their representatives were always on time and got us to and from places efficiently. We stayed at great hotels and had fantastic food. We drank only bottles water (even for brushing your teeth) and stayed away from street food or salads and never got sick!!! We saw all the major sights, hot air balloon ride, felucca ride, camel ride...the works. All in all...it was the trip of a lifetime and STI made it easy!!!! When family members inquired about the tour, we found it very difficult to describe our trip because photos and words just can not do justice to what we've seen and experienced in Egypt. We told them they have to be there.We appreciated very much the individual attention that we've received throughout the trip. The guides are very knowledgeable and professional, and the drivers are very careful drivers. We felt very safe with Badr (our driver) in Cairo!One constructive suggestion we shared with our guides is that while we appreciate the details of historical kings and mythology, we also want to know about the present and future of Egypt. We want to know about the fish, crops and plants along the Nile; we want to know what average Egyptians do for living and pleasure; their dreams and hopes. This will give a more complete picture of Egypt instead of mostly the rich and glorious past.We had the opportunity to get to know our guide Walid El Nuby during the Nile cruise in a more personal level. He is a fine young man, and with some experience, he will be an excellent guide. Samah, our guide in Cairo, is just excellent!Egypt is definitely different and unique in every way, and it will take a while to soak everything in, but we know this trip had expanded our horizon, and that is what traveling supposes to do.Thank you again for all your assistance and patience in making this trip a memorable for us.We miss the honking of cars in Cairo already.

We had some trepidation, as we are normally independent travellers and this was our first organized tour. But everything worked out really well. The tour was pretty fast paced, but we saw a tremendous amount in a very short time, and could certainly not have done that independently. He had a very friendly demeanor and willingness to tell us as much as possible about the country he loves.Our driver in Cairo, Phillip, was also very friendly and always alert to our needs. We were always kept comfortable and relaxed, even when driving in the madness of Cairo. Phillip and Ahmed were very, very kind to us.Ayman Bassily, our tour guide in Cairo, was extremely intelligent and passionate about his knowledge of Egypt. He added extras to our tours to make them the best they could possibly be. He helped us to bargain in the El Khalilli Bazaar and had Phillip take us to the carpet making school as well as the papyrus company.Sami Koury, our driver in Jordan, was also very personable and treated us like family. He not only got us to each of the tour locations safely, but he also invited us to a barbeque in the desert in Petra as well as inviting us to have dinner at his parent's home.The staff on the Sonesta Moon Goddess was wonderful, and the tours were first class. Our special thank you to everyone on the ship. They worked hard to make everyone feel very special.Although we have been home since the first of July, we have not stopped talking about this entire experience. We have had many friends to our house to see pictures of our trip, and Lynda has made several powerpoint presentations to show the 200+ students that she will teach this year at school.We fully intend on returning to Egypt with the entire family next year. Dear Heather: What a great trip! You did a fantastic job!! Who do I send my recommendation to at your place? I'd like them to know of your hard work. Everyone that you had contacted was where they were supposed to be at the right time. I couldn't believe how everything worked. We even went to our Santorini candlelight dinner with another couple from a neighboring hotel and the restaurant didn't know we were coming that night, they gave us both delicious and beautiful food. What a view too! As soon as I figure out how to send photos to you I will. I bought a CD of Greek music to make a slideshow with. I have a projector at work that I can screen my photos on a wall. We're going to have a party Labor Day with Greek food, our photos, and music. You know the only hassles were with US Airways, the wild trip there, stopping in Pittsburgh (for gas!), and running to the second plane in another terminal. Our luggage was slower than us and didn't make the flight. It arrived Tuesday night, what a pain to do Athens and the flight over in the same clothes. Fortunately, I had deodorant and toothbrushes in my carryon. The return flight was exhausting, 11 hours from Athens to Philadelphia, 5 hideous movies. But the flight from Philly to LAX had one movie, Spiderman, with NO sound! People were so irritated, Rick and I conked out and woke up over Palm Springs! Of course, our luggage didn't make that flight either and was delivered on Sunday morning!!!!! AAAACCCKKKKK!!!!Enough of the bad, everything else was perfect. I can't wait to return. Our trip to Egypt was unforgettable. As a travel agent, I will have no hesitations to book my clients with your wonderful company. Your representatives, guides and drivers were better than perfect! Michael was there at the beginning and end of the trip, making sure that every detail of our flights and hotels were in order. However, our fabulous guide, Ehab, truly made this trip. Of course he is very knowledgeable, and patient, and accommodating, but he is also just a sincerely nice, warm individual, who made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome. He was the best part of our trip! Our thanks to Ehab, Michael and all of our drivers.The trip itself was a bit overwhelming. We did so much, in such a short period of time. We barely had any time to rest. I would recommend my clients to spend a few more days, building in a bit of relaxation time. The hotels we stayed in (Sonesta and Novotel in Cairo) were just fine, and we enjoyed &#34;Lady Diana&#34;. However, the boat could use a bit of sprucing up. The towels and linens are obviously worn and faded. The tablecloths could have been changed during the cruise, and the bathrooms need some modernizing. The staff and crew on the boat were top-notch, and made up for any of the boat's shortcomings.Egypt Air worked out very well too. The transatlantic flights were quite comfortable. In fact, the planes were roomier than many other carriers. However, on a very sad note, a passenger died on our return flight. I mention this because this family had been on another STI tour - it was a Philipino woman, her 65-year-old American husband, and their 5-year-old son. (I don't know their names, but they were on Lady Diana, for 7 nights, ending on May 12.) I know that STI had assisted the husband with seeing a doctor, and he was not feeling well.All in all, it may have been unbearably hot, and our stomachs are definitely not iron-clad, but our trip to Egypt was a great experience!Thank you again to all of you!!!

Just a note to give you my evaluation report for the Egypt trip with Majas group on AugustFirst of all the airplane was just fine EgyptAirThe accommodations were upgraded in every instance and I really liked that. The JW Marriott in Heliopolis was fantastic and I only wish I could have walked around and seen more of it, including the pool. So busy from the time we got there that I never even got to walk around. But, it was very nice. Rooms were nice sized and in excellent new condition.Our guide, Omar Farouk, was very, very good. Very gentlemanly and went over and above the guide that he was. He was like a mother hen watching over us at all times.Our upgrade to the Mojito on the Nile was very nice and we enjoyed it very much. The Nile Cruise was excellent. I think the security on the buses made us feel very comfortable.I do want to tell you that one of the highlights of my daughter and my trip was the night show at the pyramids. It really was very nice and it capped the end of our vacation. I was never disappointed and had a very memorable tour.Having thought about canceling when the bombing occurred, I am glad that I did not. The Egyptian people are very friendly and I came away with a very warm feeling for all of them.

It was a trip of a lifetime and we certainly have so many to compare over the many years we have travel the world.From the moment we arrived, being met at the airport by your agent, visa issued and being transported to our hotel, it was a seamless well orchestrated adventure and introduction to Cairo and ever so pleasant. From this very first moment throughout our stay we knew we were with a very special tour company. Our personal guide in Cairo was the best, Henry Ayoub. We left feeling that he was our lighthouse, our beacon of knowledge, showing us and teaching us all about Egypt. He was continually passionately making us feel that our living history lesson was worth the long trip. He along with our other guide for the trip on the up the Nile, Tarek El Soultan were both Egyptologist and spoke English extremely well. Hats off and keep up this quality of tours.Needless to say this was from the start to finish a five star trip with food and hotel at least five stars as well. The people of Egypt were one and all, happy, charming and friendly people. Forget what you read in the newspapers! Plain and simple- Egypt was extremely safe! No protests, no sign of any anger for Americans at all only smiles and helpfulness. English is practiced throughout all the hotels, and tourist sights. The Egypt Museum was worth the trip alone and surprise of surprises Egypts Alexandria, is home to one of the world most extraordinary and modern libraries. It is no wonder that this site is part of the full experience on this trip. While the rest of the world was in caves Egypt flourished 5,000 ago and people traveling there will wonder at all that they created for us to still enjoy and witness.Well done STI and we certainly will be taking more trips with you. Overall, this trip was excellently organized and expertly implemented. In particular, I appreciated the services of personnel from your agency at every location that we visited, the selection of the places that we visited, and the wonderful guidance by your tour guide Aiman; he brought us Egypt closer than I ever would have imagined with his very well informed commentary and his suggestions for any additional activities, such as the carriage ride in Luxor that brought some most interesting experiences. I also found the accommodations and the food very good, even though my room in Sharm el Sheikh was somewhat remote from the ocean and from the rooms of the other participants.I certainly was very satisfied with the services your agency offered, and I am considering future conferences and excursions through your office.

Dear Christina and everyone at STI,Our trip to Egypt, September 17th to October 10th, 2006, couldn't have been better. It far exceeded our expectations. You told us that we would be taken care of from the minute that we landed in Cairo until we boarded the plane to come home, and oh so true! We have never been so well looked after on any trip and we have been traveling for over 30 years. This was our 3rd trip to Egypt, but the first one was 24 years ago. The second one was just for one week in Cairo. We wanted to do everything that we hadn't done before and also repeat a few things. You worked with us until the trip was just what we wanted. All of your representatives in Egypt were great but we must give extra thanks to Ahmed Stoh, last name might be spelled wrong, who oversaw our whole trip, and then to Andrew Nematalla, who went to St Catherine's with us and without his help, my husband would never have made the trip up to the top of Mount Moses, which he said was an experience of a lifetime. At 77, he was the oldest person on the mountain that morning to see the sunrise.We were lucky to have Phillipe for our driver the whole trip except for Luxor and Aswan and the 2 cruises. He drove us everywhere, including to Alexandria and back and then from Cairo to St Catherine's and on to Sharm el Sheikh. He was a great driver and the most caring man we have ever met. Also could speak some english. He slept in the car ourside the monastery from 1:30 a.m. on, in case my husband couldn't make the trip all the way and had to come back down the mountain.,,We just can't say enough nice things about these 3 people. They really made our trip special.We really enjoyed the cruise on the Nile on the Mojito, but the highlight of our trip was the cruise on Lake Nasser. The boat, the Kasr Ibrim was beautiful and the cruise was fantastic. We had a candlelight dinner on the top deck while the ship cruised to in front of Abu Simbel with it all lit up. Even got to see some live crocodiles in the lake one morning.We loved Alexandria and our hotel, the Henan Palastine which was in the Montazah Gardens. Also, Hilton Fayrous in Sharm, was wonderful.We would travel again with STI and will recommend it to all of our friends. They were outstanding! Thank you so much,
