Meet your expert local guide, and by private vehicle, head to the base of the Lagazuoi cable car, which will whisk you to the top in just three minutes—delivering you to the starting point of your unforgettable hiking experience.
Part of an extensive network of panoramic trails, Mount Lagazuoi is also a place of deep historical significance. Between 1915 and 1917, during World War I, Italian and Austro-Hungarian forces fought fiercely in this area. Soldiers carved a labyrinth of tunnels, bunkers, and fortifications into the rock, many of which remain preserved and integrated into the hiking routes today.
